Beckham will have three versions of FUT cards rated at 87. 89. and 92 overall. His prime 92-rated card features impressive individual ratings like 87 shooting, 88 dribbling, EA FC 24 Coins and 95 passing. The ratings are fitting, as Beckham has been regarded as one of the best crossers and free-kick components of all time. Beckham's pinpoint accuracy and ability to bend kicks made him one of the most dangerous midfielders to play.
Beckham played right flank, but was used as a central mid-fielder for part of his career. His EA Sports FC 22 Ultimate Team card is listed as a right midfielder, but can be effective at most offensive positions. His defensive rating is only 69. and his pace and physical ratings are sub-80. so Beckham likely won't be blowing past defenders or chucking players off the ball.
EA Sports has announced that EA Sports FC 22 will be released on December 4 for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and have free upgrades on each console. Along with EA Sports FC 22. EA's football simulation Madden 21 will also release on the same day for next-gen consoles and just confirmed new gameplay features. Although EA Sports has not shared many details on EA Sports FC 22 coming to next-gen, more details are expected before its release.
Two months ago it was an odd piece of news to hear that actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) were interested in acquiring Wrexham AFC, a Welsh soccer relic founded in 1864 now sitting around mid-table positions in the fifth division of the English sport. Now, that far-fetched dream is a reality backed by 98% of Wrexham fans.
This new move isn’t really that surprising though, considering Reynolds’ business and advertising prowess has him boasting a portfolio composed of at least a liquor brand, (Aviation Gin); a prepaid cell carrier (Mint Mobile); Maximum Effort (his ad agency); and, taking very seriously the term diversification, a stake in Wrexham.
If the idea of Deadpool buying a soccer team seems a little out there, then be prepared to know that Reynolds and McElhenney are not paying a dime up front in this deal. The agreement between the actors and Wrexham will instead operate on the promise of a $2.64m investment and the media exposure generated by a future documentary centered on the club, which happens to be owned by fans via a trust made up entirely of its supporters.
The audacity of Reynolds and McElhenney should be enough to get the attention of a big media outlet or studio like ESPN, Amazon, Disney, or Netflix. As of now, Netflix and Amazon have a wide range of documentaries on big soccer juggernauts like Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, cheap FC Coins and Boca Juniors; as well as some smaller clubs like Sunderland or Leeds United.
