P2Pah has reached out to Blizzard WoTLK Gold in an attempt to gain more information on the company's plans regarding cross-over opportunities between World of Warcraft and WoW.
The next expansion for WoW, Legion, launches this summer, which is when Duncan Jones's film World of Warcraft comes to cinemas. Game designer Brian Holinka told P2Pah in November that it's possible that the film's launch could attract new players to WoW.
"It's more of a broadening of the view of the universe to everyone," he said about the film in the moment. "For us, our primary concern is on the game. No matter if the movie is included or not, what's the point? The expansion and the quality of gameplay experience and the game's content is will help players stick in the game and play. I'm sure it'll get many players excited as well as entice some people on to"Legion" and that's a good thing."
Blizzard would probably like to see a rise in the number of subscribers to WoW. The latest report period from Activision, WoW lost another 100.000 subscribers, falling to a record low at 5.5 million. Activision will hold its latest earnings briefing next week, however, the company has decided to stop releasing subscriber numbers.
Legion can be described as World of Warcraft the sixth expansion. Legion follows The Burning Crusade (2007), Wrath of the Lich King cheap WoTLK Gold (2008), Cataclysm(2010) Mists of Pandaria (2012) as well as Warlords of Draenor (2014).
