The year of 2014 has been one of the best WoTLK Gold for Blizzard. In July the Irvine California-based company released Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty which was the initial installment in a series of three releases for its sci-fi-themed real-time strategy franchise. The game was sold out to 1.5 million within a matter of 48 hours of its launch, having sold 3 million copies at the end of September.

Blizzard hasn't yet started discussions about the next expansion for World of Warcraft, even the company believes that adding new features to the MMORPG may keep going "as for as long as the Internet is available." According to what is believed to be a leak of a publication calendar Blizzard is planning to announce Cataclysm's sequel in the quarter between April and June 2012.
