Lost Ark Mining Guide
Aside from the occasional nodes you discover while leveling, some areas are dense resource-heavy regions that may net you plenty of Iron along with other metals. Here are the very best spots to level your mining Life Skill beginning with level one:
Lakebar (Lv. 20)
Meteora Island (Lv. 250)
Alteisen (Lv. 302)
Lullaby Island (Lv. 250)
Orvis Island (Lv. 802)
Platinum Fields (Requires Crafting License)
If you're new to Lost Ark, make sure to open your map and check for these individual islands while zoomed out. The location will blink, and you will set an autoroute to sail straight to them.
Lakebar
We’ll begin with the easiest spot to level mining in Lost Ark. Lakebar is a beginning zone in West Luterra. The northern triport includes a dense section of eight Copper nodes that you could mine to completion, then switch layers. Rinse and repeat. Seriously, try it out, just pop a Leap’s Essence and obtain to swinging that pickaxe. You may want to bring several backup pickaxes for durability purposes.
Meteora Island
Next up is a 250-item level spot called Meteora. The area contains fallen meteorite fragments with no enemies to bother with interrupting your mining. There are about twelve copper nodes here that you could comfortably farm with as many as two people. It’s a well-known spot, though, to need to hop between layers to locate one with fewer players.
Alteisen
The next area you can go to is Alteisen. Unlike Meteora, there are several mobs you’ll have to eliminate once in a while. You can enjoy a little bit of mining here and finish the short quest chain for added resources and experience should you haven’t done this already.
Lullaby Island
Lullaby Island is yet another good location for mining, logging, foraging, and hunting. Since we’re concentrating on mining, there are plenty of copper nodes for this area where you can get some iron. There will likely be a lot of other players here doing the recurring quest, but that means you can hop layers and farm resources for your heart’s content.
Orvis Island
Orvis Island is a location you can visit around item level 802. There are mobs here you’ll have to wipe out, however, you’ll also find plenty of Iron Ore nodes should you need some Iron or Heavy Iron Ore for Stronghold upgrades.
Platinum Fields
Lastly, Platinum Fields may be the holy grail for resources, however, you need a Crafting License to achieve access. You can find the Platinum Fields icon in the spotlight in any major city, like Vern Castle. Crafting Licenses drop randomly through harvesting materials, so it’s not quite something you can rely on consistently. However, when you get a license, this is a great destination to farm any kind of resource imaginable.
