Get just as much ATK as you possibly can and sprinkle in certain either CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG, based on whichever is lacking. Space Sealing Station may be the go-to Planar Ornament set for stacking ATK, with Celestial Differentiator and Inert Salsotto being the options for CRIT stats.

Before Dawn may be the best Light Cone for Herta because it increases her damage overall (including her follow-up attacks). Players who don't have this Light Cone may use anything else that increases her CRIT DMG, ATK, and follow-up ATK DMG, like Birth from the Self and Geniuses' Repose.

One thing to notice, however, is the fact that players can prioritize her basic attack over her Talent whenever they want to. This is because the second only triggers once enemies reach 50% HP or less, which makes it less reliable in battles where players can defeat enemies in single or two hits.
