Pela is really a one-of-a-kind Support that has plenty to provide to any team in Honkai: Star Rail Accounts.

Pelagaya Sergeyevna, or Pela for brief, provides a ton of useful offensive utility which makes even the hardest of Honkai: Star Rail combat encounters exactly that much easier. She's got two unique combat abilities that nobody else in the launch version of the game has, and she or he can use both to great effect.

Every player will find value within the firepower Pela provides, regardless of the teams they've. However, her situational nature means she's much more of a niche pick compared to Harmony characters in Honkai: Star Rail. She's not quite a necessary pick, but there are several characters within the game who greatly take advantage of having her around the team.

Honkai: Star Rail Pela Team Synergies

As from the game's launch version, Pela may be the only Nihility character using the innate capability to remove buffs and shred enemy DEF. This makes her invaluable in high-level content where enemies have high damage resistance values, and players can get Pela to become relevant despite more characters getting released.

The sheer effectiveness of Pela's utility skills makes her a situational pick. She can technically synergize with any team when the scenario requires a character who is able to remove buffs and shred defenses. So, rather than suggesting entire team comps, here are a few characters that have good synergy with Pela's abilities.

Seele - The Quantum Grim Reaper is capable of doing dealing massive levels of damage by hand, and Support could make those big numbers go even higher. Seele already has a lot of innate Quantum PEN both in her kit and her ideal Relic set, and Pela can tune that more by reducing enemy DEF together with her Ultimate. In theory, it will help Seele deal near to unmitigated harm to whoever she attacks.

Welt - Pela's DEF shred works nicely with Welt's damage amplification versus Slowed enemies. At the same time, she'll deal even more harm to said enemies because of her Ascension 2 and Eidolon 6 bonuses that only work when attacking debuffed targets. Such a combo might help Pela deal surprising levels of burst damage which makes her quite strong against enemies with Ice Weakness.

Clara - Svarog launches hard-hitting counter-attacks against anyone who attacks Clara. This may not seem special, but this will make the duo one of the most efficient characters with regards to making use of Pela's DEF shred, which lasts just for two turns. This synergy is biggest against bosses that take several moves per turn cycle, like the Simulated Universe bosses and several Elite enemies within the Memory of Chaos floors.

Apart from all of these three, Pela can elevate almost every other damage-dealing unit within the game. This is especially true for anyone who is able to take multiple actions per cycle like Sushang and Dan Heng.

Players can't fail with bringing Pela into difficult content, but Tingyun and Bronya compete for her spot around the team. It's as much as the players to determine which of those three Supports may be worth taking to some fight.
