The most recent Madden 22 patch has eliminated disgraced the former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden from the game. Gruden faced criticism and Madden 22 coins resigned as coach for the Raiders in the month of October after emails were discovered that revealed racist comments and offensive language used by the 58-year-old. The messages were based on conversations he'd had between 2011-18.

EA Sports has made a routine of eliminating the images of coaches and players who have been fired or released amidst the kind of deceitful behavior. It's anticipated that EA will also take down WR Henry Ruggs III in the next update.

It was reported that the Raiders were able to release Ruggs on Tuesday, after Ruggs was charged with a DUI after a fatal crash that killed a woman and her dog. The update could have to delay until December unless EA deems it necessary to have Ruggs removed quicker. Apart from the addition to the Raiders' virtual sideline, the patch also changed the beards for Leonard Williams and Tyrann Mathieu.

EA Madden 22 is the latest and one of the most controversial installments in the series. While it's a lot better than Madden 21 in some aspects such as graphics, it hasn't been without its problems from the beginning.

Even before the game's launch, Madden 22 players started complaining about problems regarding the game. Many people believed that EA would fix the issue prior to the game's release across the globe, but this was not the case. Some recent issues that are affecting players are the game freezing in the event of upgrading or developing players and the crashing issue on Xbox.
