Mounts type in Final Fantasy XIV is very wide, only things you can’t imagine, nothing you can’t ride in-game. In this new patch, they have added more mounts for players to ride with. Let’s see what these new mounts look like and how to get them.

How to Get the Magicked Children’s Bed Mount in FFXIV

The Magicked Children’s Bed is really a bed that players can lay on and run or fly around with. I had never imagined traveling around laying on a bed until director Naoki Yoshida showed it off earlier.

On the bed, it says: For as long as beds have existed, children have dreamed of having one that flies. Thanks to this winsome piece lovingly crafted for younglings─and the young at heart─that dream is now a reality.

Ways to Get the Magicked Children’s Bed

The easiest way to get the Magicked Children’s Bed is to buy it from the Market Board with Gil if you have enough on your character. If not, you can easily buy safe and cheap FFXIV Gil to get the mount quickly.

If you don’t want to spend Gil on it, you can use 600 Faux Leaf to exchange it with Faux Commander in Idyllshire at X:5.7 Y:6.1.

Or use 1 Khloe’s Gold Certificate of Commendation to exchange with Khloe Aliapoh in Idyllshire at X:5.7 Y:6.0.

How to Get Island Sanctuary Mounts in FFXIV

In Island Sanctuary, they have added four exchangeable mounts. Three of them are the same type with different faces and colors. The Island Garlic Jester is yellow and green, Island Tomato King is red and black, and Island Mandragora Queen is white and pink.

Players can exchange those three mounts with Horrendous Hoarder for 18,000 Seafarer’s Cowries each, with no rank requirements.

Another mount they have added to Island Sanctuary is Island Buffalo. Players have to level their island to rank 16 to be able to exchange it with 50,000 Seafarer’s Cowries.

Those four Island Sanctuary mounts are all untradeable, so you have to spend time grand on your island to earn more Seafarer’s Cowries to exchange for them.

How to Get the PvP Mount — Traveling Supporter in FFXIV

Players can get the Traveling Supporter Identification Key as a reward when reaching level 25, which can turn into a Traveling Supporter mount after using it.

The mount is a machine-made bunny. The body doesn’t look like a bunny, but only the big bright ears do. When flying, it can change to a plane-like shape, and the two big ears turn into the propeller whirling ahead, and the transformation is incredibly cool.

The Traveling Supporter Identification Key is also untradeable, and reaching level 25 requires 108,000 EXP, so prepare yourself for many battles if you want this one.

How to Get the Lynx of Fallen Shadow Mount in FFXIV

The Lynx of Fallen Shadow mount drops from The Voidcast Dais (Extreme) Trial at a low rate and needs an average item level of 630 or higher to be able to enter the duty. It has a low drop rate and seven other players competing with you, making it even harder to get. The good thing is that once someone has this mount, they can’t roll for it anymore, so it will be more accessible when most players already have it.

If you have bad luck on the dropping or rolling for the mount, don’t worry, there is another way to get it. You can get a Voidcast Archefiend Totem up on each clear and use 99 Totems to exchange for the mount with Nesvaas in Radz-at-Han at X:10.6 Y:10 later when it’s available.

How to Get the Megaloambystoma Mount in FFXIV

The Megaloambystoma mount is also called for Axolotl mount by players, drops from Pandaemonium Anabaseios: The Twelfth Circle (Savage), and the Savage content is some of the hardest to clear, but the mount is adorable, so this mount might bring more players to do the Savage content.

Above are all the mounts that were added in patch 6.4. Getting them all will take a long time and more effort, so don’t rush it and take your time. Eventually, you will get them. Thank you for reading, and good luck with the mount collecting.
