Slayer is a great way to build your melee strength, therefore, if you are planning on going through training, try it. Its a nice way to runescape gold break from the monotony of practicing on a single monster. Someone who doesn't have 85 Slayer, Abby whips are roughly 1 in 540 not 100 kills in camping. The biggest gain in Slayer isn't derived from the massive drops, but from tiny ones that accumulate over time . They also provide clues if you do them , and especially if you're doing intelligent herb runners between tasks.

It's true, I do not have the 85 slayer. But that doesn't mean I don't know a thing or two about it. There's been accounts of not getting a whip drop for 4-6 hours of continuous killing. However, the reality is that it's one of the rare drops. Any help site you go to will list the whip as one of them.

The odds of getting whips within the 75-125 range is possible however, it is not tipacal. However, it is possible. You stand a better chance of getting one within the range of 1-540 kills. However, you could not be able to get one. If you ask anyone why they train slayer, its nearly always about the large drops. Ex: whips from abby deamons, sols from ice strykewyrms, etc.

However, even if they do slay the drops, most of their profits won't be derived from them especially for ice wyrms. which have incredible drops. the SOL is merely a bonus. The 1/540 comes from the average dropped (mite be 520, I can't remember) however, it is derived from players submitting how many kills it takes them to earn a whip, and yes, it is possible to be in your range, but this isn't a drop rate.

Helm of Neitiznot - It's a good balanced helm. the helm of Torag or Verac if you're looking for more defensive stats , or a Fighter hat to increase offensive stats (about identical stats like a Rune full helm but with with bonuses in three attack types: Stab, Slash and Crush attacks)

Guthans Plate - Decent The Fighter torso offers an attractive Strength bonus, so it's a great option for those who can't afford Bandos Also, I'm not 100% sure about this but I believe Torag's (and Dharok's) gives slightly better defensive stats , and is worth 650kish so it's worth getting imo.

Your current setup is great But I'd recommend something that isn't going to degrade. Dragon Platelegs include Fighter Torso, for example. Dragon Platelegs aren't very expensive as well as runescape money for sale it's the Fighter Torso only costs a couple of hours to purchase. Or Bandos armour if you're a very wealthy player.
