For Cheap Jordan Retros, The trajectory of the Air Jordan 1 KO reissue has been a rather interesting one thus far. After returning in the original “Chicago” colorway, Jordan Brand delivered the off-shoot AJ1 via a collaboration with its newest creative partner – Billie Eilish. The signature flooded the AJKO with a bright lime green upper from head to toe, yielding the most unexpected interpretation we’ve ever seen from the 1985 model. For 2022, Jordan Brand will launch a ’Syracuse’ iteration.Seen here for the first time is a “Syracuse” colorway of orange and white. As one of the most common colorways of the 1980s, this pairing reflects the brand’s connections with the Central NY school, but it’s a flat out irresistible colorway history aside.
This new offering of the Air Jordan 1 KO takes on a simple two-tone color makeup as the shoe takes on a full canvas construction on the upper with White placed on the base of the shoe and orange hitting the overlays and ankle. Additional details include orange leather Swooshes, orange on the laces and inner liner, white hitting the Nike Air on the tongues and the AJKO Wings logo on the ankles, a Sail rubber midsole, and an orange rubber outsole.Thankfully, the OG canvas detailing remains, allowing the AJKO to keep its vintage flair.
Air Max 270, The Union x Nike Dunk Lows, which is previewed in black and “aged” colorways, features a primarily suede build with canvas-laden cutouts. Union branding adorns the tongue and a UN/LA tag near the lacestay, while the Frontman logo is debossed into the heel. Each pair is finished off with a speckled midsole.Canvas and suede construction comes together across the shoes’ upper, with the former material making up much of the base layer. Panel layout throughout the Cortez differs from standard pairs, allowing for the grey, yellow, pink and blue color palette employed by the LA-based boutique to leave its mark in a refreshing way.
