What better gown to put on at a crisp winter's day wedding than the usual sparkling, long sleeve wedding dresses? They chose Cotswold venue Hyde House near Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire for his or her ceremony and reception on 26 November 2021.

Inspired by the bride's love of neutral tones and pampas grass, the black-tie day was elegant and minimal, with softness added through dried flowers and grasses.

"The dress was built with a mink lining that I was immediately drawn to also it sparkled within the light. It only agreed to be the most beautiful thing I have ever placed on and made me feel millions of dollars."

The marriage ceremony was held within the high-ceilinged, airy barn, decorated having a fairy light canopy.

"Cara specializes in dried flowers and it is amazing at what she does. The style from the wedding took its origin from pampas grass and dried floral arrangements."

"From the very first meeting together with her, she knew precisely what I wanted and understood me 100%. The night before the wedding Cara messaged me some pictures of the table pieces and my bouquet and I almost cried with happiness. I was amazed."

The couple possesses a nineteen-month-old son, who played a vital part in their engagement story.

"We met on New Year's Eve 2016 inside a local bar. At 5ft 11, I'm tall for a lady, and Ally is 6ft 5, so he caught my attention immediately. It's a bonus that he is extremely handsome."

"Ally lived in Somerset at that time and I lived in Gloucester, but his closest friend had gone to live in Gloucester a couple of weeks before and Ally had joined him for New Year's Eve."
