We decided to have our wedding in Norfolk, VA. We knew that people wanted it somewhere close to the water! So without having to be right around the beach, throughout the hottest month of the season, we knew that having it in the Half Moone Cruise & Celebration Center will be a perfect and "cool" backdrop around the Elizabeth River. We desired to have a perfect venue where we were able to get married inside however it seem like I was outside. The floor-to-ceiling windows within the Half Moone Cruise & Celebration Center were breathtaking for all of us. We spent the majority of our dating lives together in Norfolk because I visited a school there, therefore it was a perfect spot to express our fascination with each other and be one. It also brought back a lot of memories for all of us both, that is always fun!

When planning our wedding we knew that people wanted a color that will look good on ALL of us (as within the wedding party). We decided to have a Spa since it reminded us a lot of the beautiful ocean and I wanted something near to Tiffany Blue. The accent colors for the marriage were silver along with a touch of pink. Our wedding theme was #MeetTheBrowns. Everyone always tells me how "Hollywood-like and glamorous" I am so I knew I wanted a movie-themed wedding. It made your day that much more enjoyable. We even were built with a runway contributing to our reception area. It was an aspiration come true.

There is no one moment of our wedding that I can choose because the "best". The day was true "MAGICALLY GLAMOROUS"! We had an incredible day from start to finish. My husband and I even decided to go out after our wedding with these friends because we desired to keep the celebration going! Everyone still discusses how fun our wedding was and just how they have never visited a wedding like this before.

I had a lot of fun planning my wedding. I help plan events inside my job, therefore it has always been something I enjoyed. I enjoyed it a lot that my mom and I made just about everything for my wedding. From the save the dates, invitations, programs, centerpieces, as well as our bouquets and boutonnieres, my mom and I got an opportunity to show off our talents through my wedding.
