Argos includes a single-shot mechanic which requires that everyone be in a secure spot. In this phase there are there are four safe sun spots as well as five moonsafe locations will spawn in total Lost Ark Gold, which makes eight (the moon safe areas spawn more close towards Argos more than sun safe spots).

One of each of the affixes will be released in each direction of the boss. It is essential for only one to be at each safe spot (for their corresponding affixes, obviously) since if you have more than one in your secure spot, only one can endure the shockwave Argos sends out.

To prevent that in the beginning of the first phase, someone from your party will likely say "1234," followed by "NESW," or just the latter. This means that the first party member goes North then the second member goes east, and the third party member goes south, and the fourth party member is west.

The rule is applicable to both parties, as each group's members are assigned as one through four. While these safe areas will not always have spawning locations exactly in the direction of east, north, south, or west of Argos however, they do spawn in the general direction, which is why if your location is west, for instance and you're assigned west, look for your safe spot located on the western side from the main.

This is the next phase after that "Safe spots" phase. A dotted circle forms around Argos which slowly slows down and he'll set himself up as a neutral affix. Sun-affixed players who damage him can cause him to be sun-affixed, and moon players who cause harm to him could cause him to become moon-affixed Cheap Lost Ark Gold. The objective here is to ensure he gets equal amount of damage from both players with the moon and sun attaches, so that he stays with his neutral attach.
