Scott and I originally met in a bar in Manayunk, while I was out with my cousin. She visited Temple with Scott, then when they saw one another out, they started talking and she or he introduced us. I thought he was cute but informed her that she should speak with him! One year later, swiping on Tinder, I saw him on the website and texted my cousin a screenshot of him. She immediately responded by stating that is Scott, the guy you met in Manayunk that certain night! He is an excellent guy and you ought to continue dating him. Almost seven years since that first date, we're now happily married.

Truly surprised. At the time, Scott and I have been dating for 5 years and we discussed marriage and attempting to take the next thing but never discussed exactly when. He explained that when the time comes, I would be shocked (I didn’t believe him because I thought I would have sensed if this was coming.) He went away on a work trip for any week and he explained he would be home that Friday around 5 pm. So I discontinued working like normal and arrived home with the biggest surprise of my entire life… Candles, roses, decorations, and Scott will be ready to get recorded on one knee! Little did I know, his flight arrived early that morning so he'd had all day to set up our apartment while I was at the office. He truly pulled off the largest surprise of my entire life and loved every intimate moment of it.

We selected the venue first, after which everything else fell into place. Our venue was very romantic and whimsical, so that’s what we should go with because both of us fell deeply in love with how dreamy the venue was by itself.

Enjoy it and have an open mind! You may have a particular vision in your mind but you’d be amazed at what else you may love by staying flexible.

My favorite part was having “two” looks! I loved my dress or bridal shops near me but I felt enjoy it was missing something. A few months before the wedding I decided I wanted a feeltimes complete skirt to put on for the ceremony. It was fluffy, romantic, and fun! It was that extra little touch that I wanted. Then for that reception, I became popular with my skirt and could dance the night time away with no extra layers! People were also able to determine all of the gorgeous details my dress had because they shimmered into the nighttime!

It was the most perfect day! Of course, there have been a few hiccups in some places but nothing major (thankfully)! My favorite moment was my first look with my hubby, I did not think I was likely to be so emotional but I was. I had butterflies in my stomach enjoying it was our first date once again! Another moment that I loved was having dinner on our own in Cairnwood’s private suite. While everybody was finding their tables, and seating for lunch. We snuck upstairs for 15 mins to savor our first meal together as a couple. It was so nice and romantic because we reached eat and revel in some alone time.

We thought it might be nice to complete late-night cheesesteaks for everybody to grab on their way out. Turned into a savage moment because individuals were tipsy coupled with drunken munchies. Some people were taking an arm filled with cheesesteaks, someone else was filling a ziplock filled with them, yet others were fighting because they didn’t acquire one (not Scott and I.) These were really good cheesesteaks!
