The main cost of a central air conditioning repair is, more often than not, the spare parts themselves. On occasion, our engineers recommend that replacing the entire system may be more cost effective, specifically if the unit is ancient or contains R22 refrigerant gas, which was banned some years ago and cannot be used to re-commission AC systems.
