A version of it is already being hacked for Diablo 2: Resurrected, with one version allowing players to transform their Amazon into either a Corrupted Amazon or a Valkyrie, depending on their choice.

Despite the fact that Diablo 2: Resurrected will be released in September, the Amazon's appearance will be altered as a result of the mod. It is one of many that have been created for the game despite the fact that it has not yet been released. The ARPG will almost certainly continue to receive extensive mod support, and while this particular mod is not yet available on Battle. net, it is expected to be made available there shortly after its release date.

When playing Diablo 2: Resurrection, it appears as though the Corrupted Amazon's health is deteriorating, as the color of her normally brown skin has changed to a ghostly and pale white hue. Those who have played Diablo 2 before will be familiar with the antagonist known as Blood Raven, who appears in the game's first act. A few features of the Blood Raven are similar to those of the Corrupted Amazon, including their pale skin with fissures, which they share with the latter. Despite the fact that Blood Raven's armor adds even more creepy elements to his appearance, the corrupted Amazon can be outfitted with whatever equipment players come across in their exploration.

It is only possible to play the Corrupted Amazon in Diablo 2: Resurrected if the mod file is unzipped into the game's data folder on the computer. Aside from changing the file's name, Madonnagwen recommended creating a shortcut for D2R. exe in addition to the other steps outlined in the original article. Players should be able to launch Diablo 2: Resurrection after completing these two procedures and choose between the Corrupted Amazon and the Valkyrie as their playable characters after completing these two procedures.

The fact that players can equip anything compatible with the Amazon to the Corrupted Amazon means that they have the option of extending the disturbing aesthetic to the weapons and armor in Diablo 2: Resurrected or opting out of the disturbing aesthetic. Diablo 2 players will be able to celebrate the month of October in grand style as the Corrupted Amazon as a result of this update. The existence of corrupted versions of the other Diablo 2: Resurrected characters is currently unknown, and Madonnagwen and his crew have not stated whether or not they intend to create such characters in the near future.
