There weren't many options for buying something that was affordable. There were some food courts in the strip centers but the parking lots were tiny and the wait was horrible.
One day, while they were complaining about their lunch situation, one of them said, "Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could have some great food delivered?" The proverbial light bulb turned on! Then they did something that many people do not do--they did something about their idea. Interestingly enough, they purchased one of Entrepreneur magazine's business startup guides and began a restaurant delivery business.

Ideally at this point, the process of figuring out which business is right for you personally has more than been somewhat demystified. Realize that business startup is not rocket science. No, it is not easy to start a business, but it is not as complex or as scary as a lot of people believe, either. It is a step-by-step, common sense procedure. And so take it one step at a time. First step: Determine what you want to do. Talk to other people and see what they think about your idea once you have it. Ask "Would you purchase and / or make use of that, and just how much would you pay?"
