Two of World of Warcraft 's biggest WoTLK Gold content creators, Preach Gaming and MadSeasonShow, are quitting Blizzard's long-running MMO in favor of a new venture even though they have different reasons for moving forward.
In a new video titled "End of an Era - Why We're No More Covering WoW," Preach explained the decision of the channel to cease daily WoW broadcasts, invoking recently filed California lawsuit filed against Activision Blizzard over the company's claims of "frat girl" culture, which is full of sexual harassment as well as the state of WoW's most recent Shadowlands expansion. Preach said that in light of recent allegations, and the response of Activision Blizzard leadership, he does not feel comfortable promoting Blizzard's game.
"That is the way it works and that's the connection I have with Blizzard with having a large number of fans," Preach says. "We create content, we look at the content that is in development. We have the opportunity to review things a little bit ahead of time to make sure we get the information out to you to use as a marketing tool. The lawsuit has resulted in the dismissal of a variety of Blizzard veterans among them former Blizzard head of the company J. Allen Brack and the lead designer of the game Jesse McCree. McCree's World of Warcraft character sharing McCree's name is set to undergo changing its name buy WoTLK Gold within the next few months.
