The guide can also be used intended for WOW TBC Gold leveling hunters. Even though it's for higher levels than you I thought it was worth having a look. You may be able to learn valuable information about classes, and even alter it to fit your needs. At the very minimum, you'll get some idea how it plays at higher levels if you skip around the guide after the introduction.
It is not difficult, but patience is essential. You can only pull one mob every turn, unless you are playing specific classes or building. In case you are struck by another creature be sure that your class is equipped with the tools necessary to pull it. Although killing one mob can take about a minute and you'll need to attack on auto and mainly afk while doing so because there's no other option available which is what some love. It's really REALLY slow paced.
People who hate will be angry but it's worth the increase if you aren't happy being weak. I discovered that beginning with all my strengths and skills helped me greatly to increase my outplay potential. My first toon was a warlock. I reached 30+ and then quit due to the fact that I was weak. I was forced to drink every pull. Boosted another one in prepatch and it's a completely different experience, with a proper build I barely need to slow down or even slow down at all, and I can pull mobs in chains without having to worry about dying.
You seem to be trying to kill something at your level, or perhaps a bit higher. If this were the case, you shouldn't have to use all of your resources and mana just to take down just one thing. Go to places where the mobs are only a several levels below you, and you'll be able to do it much more easily. In the initial levels, it is difficult to find areas like this with enough quests so you may just have to straight up grind on mobs that are green without any quests until you reach an upper level for your next area. It is simpler to locate the best area for you if you're several levels ahead of you.
While there was one major EU Horde guild The list of boss targets who were first killed in vanilla indicates that it was 7 40 alliance horde first kills. It wasn't even close for me as a member of a world-first pushing guild. Even though great players are able to be successful in buy WOW Classic Burning Crusade Gold vanilla horde but it was much more easy to be an alliance player prior to.
