Muay Thai, also known as “the art of eight limbs”, is a sport that originated in Thailand. The basic rules of a Muay Thai fight are simple: two people come together to fight using their fists, feet and elbows. There are no rounds – the fight is over when one fighter either taps out or can no longer continue.

Muay Thai is considered to be one of the most brutal sports on the planet. Fighters will often go toe-to-toe for several minutes, throwing everything they have at each other in an attempt to win. It’s not unusual for a Muay Thai fight to end with one fighter unconscious on the ground. However, despite its reputation as a violent sport, Muay Thai is actually very strategic - there’s a lot that goes into each and every fight!
