Massage is one of the oldest and most commonly used forms of therapy. The four main types of massage are Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, and myofascial. Each type has its own benefits and drawbacks. Here's a quick overview of each:

Swedish massage is the most common form of body massage and is typically performed on the hands, feet, neck and shoulders. It is known for its gentle touch and can help to improve circulation.

Deep tissue massage targets knots and tension in the muscular tissues and is often recommended for people with chronic pain or injuries. It can be tough on the skin and requires a lot of pressure to work effectively.

Trigger point massage uses specific finger techniques to release tight muscles. It is often used to treat pain related issues such as headaches, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc.
